Godavari Foundation was established in 1993 by Dr.Ulhas Patil, (Ex. MP) with a mandate to “serve the needs of the common people & societies in the Jalgaon Area of North Maharashtra”. Godavari Foundation is registered organization vide registration no. F-2246 (Jalgaon) dated 12/08/93 under Mumbai Public Charity Act, 1950 and MAH / 2406 / Jalgaon dated 2/04/93 under Societies Registration Act,1860. The Foundation was established on the encouragement and inspiration from their mother & in the name of Smt. Godavari Vasudeo Patil (A Retired Teacher)

Over a period of 30 years, Godavari Foundation is now a pioneering educational hub of North Maharashtra. Today the Foundation runs about 27 institutions that include Medical- MBBS, M.D. Program, Engineering, Agri-Engg., Management, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Law, Fashion Design, Computer Applications, Fine Arts, Interior designs, Medical College & Hospital, Hotel Management & many others. Moreover Foundation also runs 03 English Medium Schools with CBSE Pattern.

Godavari Foundation’s Dr. Varsha Patil Women’s College of Computer Application, Jalgaon is established in 2001 to import high quality education in the field of Computer Application. DVPWCCA is approved by AICTE. New Delhi & affiliated to SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai.
